Covid Vaccines
Covid booster vaccines – government funded (bulk billed) are available to anyone 18 years and older who has not had a booster or COVID-19 infection in the past six months. We currently stock JN.1 Pfizer Vaccine​

Shingles Vaccines
You are eligible for the new government funded (bulk billed) shingles vaccination if you are over 65yrs old and have not had previous shingles vaccination in the last 5yrs – if you are unsure, please ring reception for advice/ to book. New vaccine is 2 doses 2-6months apart for long term protection. 50 plus aboriginal/Torres Strait islander, or adults with certain medical conditions (nurse to advise).

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) Vaccines
A new RSV vaccine is recommended in pregnancy (from 28 weeks gestation) – currently private on prescription but will be government funded from FEB 2025 – please speak to your GP if you need this sooner.
Another RSV vaccine is available for >60yrs privately on prescription only – please speak to your GP to arrange.

Pertussis (Whooping Cough) Vaccines
Gov funded (bulk billed) DPT booster (Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus) is recommended in pregnancy from 20-28 weeks gestation – please book directly with nurse.
DPT booster is also recommended for >65yrs and anyone in close contact with newborn babies – available privately for $70 fee – please book directly with nurse.

Travel Vaccines
All travel vaccines are private – we keep most in stock including Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Hepatitis A+ B, Rabies. If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible to claim a rebate. Please book a travel consult with your GP ideally at least 1mth prior to travel with your itinerary to plan your vaccination schedule and, if necessary, prescribe antimalarial or other medications.

Flu Vaccines
We still have 2025 flu vaccine in stock – please book directly with nurse if required. Flu vaccine is recommended and government funded (bulk billed) for higher risk groups – all >65yrs, children age 6m-<5yrs, pregnant women, anyone on immunosuppressants, and those with long term conditions such as asthma or diabetes (nurse to advise), and aboriginal/Torres Strait islander.

Pneumonia Vaccines
Government funded (bulk billed) vaccine is available for anyone >70yrs. Aboriginal/Torres Strait islander >50 years. Also, certain medical conditions, (nurse to advise).
